This is the website of actor Douglas McFarlane who has performed in a wide variety of plays, musicals, TV and film. His roles have included Judge, Policeman, Surgeon and Psychiatrist.

Douglas’s credits include BBC dramas (Taggart, The Key), an AOL Commercial and independent film (Ticking Man), and theatre (Tariq Ali’s Illustrious Corpse). His London West End debut was in the world premiere of KPAX on stage (a film with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges).

In recent years, his work has included the musical GALA (based on Salvador Dali’s lover), followed by two Steinbeck plays and the first performance of a play at the new Scottish Parliament.

In 2009, Douglas took the Producer/Director role, in addition to Presenter, and created the feature documentary, Making It In Hollywood.

In addition to performance, Douglas is founder of UK Theatre Network, a successful theatre promotional website which he setup in 2001 after co-founding the independent film casting network Shooting People a few years earlier. Douglas now appears monthly on Sky News, as a guest of Martin Stanford in "Skynews.com - News With A Web Agenda".
